Interlinear/inline annotations (often called ruby, hence the HTML element <ruby>) are a common feature of typesetting, particularly in Japanese and in Chinese languages, and they are somewhat challenging to layer on top of existing layout tools in Parley (for example, because they can affect the layout width of words, either by overflowing on top, or by being interspersed between characters).
I want to open the discussion on how we can support this use case.
