4.8-1 Downloads channels but does not save them

On Arch, updated to 4.8-1 from 4.6-1 and although I can see in the terminal that channel list do download they never get saved so net result for any list is Channels=0.
Rebuilt 4.6-1 from AUR which uses the original LM source files and all is well.
BTW, 4.8-1 was aslo installed by AUR which simply builds the package using LM source as well, used same PKGBUILD script for both so I believe the problem is in LM Hypnotix source.

This is mostly just an FYI as I'm quite happy with 4.6-1.

Im on 4.9 lmde6 and getting something similar. The channels never show up in the interface. just 0's.
