but also let me copy some of the info. I was trying to a flatpak app and it didn't apply the theme correctly, and it is so bad that it's not useable because white text on white background:
I think it's the same issue as this other one:localsend/localsend#1459 but that one just defaulted to it's own, functional colorscheme, so in that case it was fine. That's what set me on the track of "portals".
If I'm in the wrong place here, I'm sorry and please tell me where I can ask.
After the previous issue was closed I checked my version and it's xdg-desktop-portal-gtk is already the newest version (1.14.0-1build1) and I am on xubuntu 22.04

I commented in #17 yesterday that something didn't work, and the original issue was apparently solved, so I think the right move is to make a new one?
