Post image in chatroom

hey m1k1o, are you familiar with caracal.club? they are closing at the end of the year and my friends and i are very interested in how similar neko is. please consider adding some of the same chat features if possible sometime? would money help make this possible? image and gif posting like on caracal's chat would be so awesome. also, they have a soundboard feature the chatroom owner can enable via a command "/set sb1" and then anyone in the room can play audio wav files from a list of commands. it's quite funny really, but seems complicated as i don't know of any other chatrooms doing this with a virtual browser. thanks for all you do. we appreciate it.

I would like to make an additional clarification to this feature request. If the server itself will fetch images to embed, please add proxy support so we can avoid IP grabbers easily exposing the host address. I don't think the soundboard should be a very high priority compared to inline images.

No need for all that fluff, why would you put more performance strain on the server? This feature is a nothingburger sandwich in terms of implementing, we can literally just format a simple url as an html image embed.
Images should be rendered client-side just like all normal websites. Sometimes people overthink things far too much.
This also prevents someone from uploading something bad/malicious to the host.

Though responsibility for safety is on the admin/user of the room being hosted. If you wouldn't trust a stranger with it, don't leave it accessible to them and only invite people you trust/know at the very least.

A Soundboard could probably be implemented like the emoji buttons where the sound is injected mid-stream, though I'm not sure how to best go about adding it.
