Hi there,

Loving the plugin so far but had a couple of questions/feature requests, I hope you don't mind.

I should warn you before I start I'm Pretty New to Hassio (still at the point of needing a new install every few weeks when I break things, good thing I like backups so much 😂) as for coding I have even less experience as I have tended to stick to UI installs, but always willing to learn.

I was wondering how I would go about adding my gas meter (also with octopus) and about getting usage data. I noticed you mentioned you currently use an owl energy monitor until your agile account was setup, did you manage to get it sorted as this is a feature I would love to implement maybe even feed into some sort of tracking thingamajig.

Sorry for the rambling and thanks for your help

Jim

I too am an octopus customer, i have no energy monitor though so gas and electric usage would be a godsend to me

I would also be very keen to have this capability as I have no way of monitoring my gas usage.

There's a separate octopus_energy integration that does this - not sure if it works yet as I'm waiting for the switch to complete.

Note however that Octopus only apparently update usage once a day, so unless this is wrong or has changed you won't get up-to-date usage data.
