Checkboxes are not working, neither the checked not the unchecked, it shows [ ], [x] instead of showing checkboxes.

Sublime text doesn't support checkboxes, so there is not much I can do on this...

One possibility would be to put them in a <code> and do some ascii art. I think that's an idea...

Could always use a unicode character: ☐ ☑︎ https://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/2610/index.htm https://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/2611/index.htm

Oh that's a good idea! I didn't know those existed.
