Dear all,
I was using xBar with previous MacOS version Sonoma. Since the update to Sequoia I am no more able to see my values into the MacOS bar.
Could you please let me know when an update will be available as I am waiting for xBAr application running to update another MAC to Sequoia
Thanks for your feedback
Regards
M. Braconnier David

Are there any error messages you can provide? Are other xbar plugins working on your system?

Looks like you might be responding via email, which isn't translating well into the GitHub issue thread. The screenshot you provided didn't show up. Could you go to the link #2062 and upload the screenshot directly via the GitHub web UI?

Thanks.

The error message is No route to host indicating your machine can't seem to find a way to connect to 192.168.1.57. This seems less like an xbar issue and possibly something that might have changed system-wise with the upgrade to Sequoia or possibly the device you are attempting to contact.

If you go to the terminal, what does traceroute 192.168.1.57 give you?

Hi Luiz,
Find below the requested traceroute result:
Last login: Thu Oct 10 19:13:24 on ttys000
iMac_David@imac-de-david-2 ~ % traceroute 192.168.1.57
traceroute to 192.168.1.57 (192.168.1.57), 64 hops max, 40 byte packets
1 192.168.1.57 (192.168.1.57) 100.283 ms 10.866 ms 2.034 ms

Device is reachable from the PC having the Xbar issue

Hmm... Based on this thread, I'm wondering if you need to allow xbar local network access. If you open up the System Settings app, is there an xbar item under Privacy & Security > Local Network?

Best I can say at this point is to try the following:

  1. Go back to the Privacy & Security > Local Network setting and toggle it off for xbar.
  2. Quit xbar entirely.
  3. Go back to the Privacy & Security > Local Network setting and toggle it on for xbar.
  4. Start xbar.

If that doesn't work, maybe reboot the machine after toggling if off for xbar and quitting xbar. See what happens when the machine comes back up. Otherwise, not much else I can do to help. Would have to see if @matryer has any insight.

Hi Luiz,

I went through the above actions without any success. For info xbar was already allowed to access local network

Thanks for asking @martryer for more support and heads up as mentioned
Sorry for this looping exchanges but I really do not understand why is it not more working
