Could not create 'qube_apps.egg-info': Permission denied

Hi. I am a relative newb to Qubes and Terminal. I am running Qubes R4.2.3 on an Acer Predator. I am trying to install Qube Apps in the Debian 12 template.

When I run: './build_deb.sh' I get this: error: could not create 'qube_apps.egg-info': Permission denied
Qube Apps failed to build!

Anyone have any ideals as to what "permission" is denying it and how I can change said permission.
