How to Build a Microsoft Teams Plugin to Sync Videos to an External Application?

I have an application that processes videos by extracting transcripts, generating summaries, and indexing them for efficient search and retrieval.

I want to build a Microsoft Teams plugin that, when enabled, will automatically sync videos from Teams meetings to my application for indexing.

I am new to Teams plugin development and would like guidance on:

• The right approach – Should I use a Teams Bot, Messaging Extension, or Graph API?
• Permissions & Authentication – What permissions and authentication mechanisms are required to access meeting recordings?
• Data Syncing – How to retrieve videos from Teams and push them to my application?
• Best practices & references – Any relevant documentation, sample projects, or tutorials would be helpful.
