Ubiquiti has a new package available for the os-unifi-maxit plugin (https://www.ui.com/download/releases/network-server). This also appears to support a newer mongodb ("Added support for MongoDB 8.0 and Java 21 on Network Servers.").

Is it possible to (1) add the new version of the unifi app, mongodb, and java to the plugin, and (2) have a supported migration path from the existing plugin?

Looks like the required change is moving from the unifi8 port to unifi9
