Enabling automatic country detection in offline mode

Hi there,

I am currently working on a goal to implement CodeCarbon in a wide array of open source AI tools used in training and generation workloads. The overarching goal for this is so that there is no more excuse for "flying blind" in the face of AI power consumption and start recording data as soon as possible.

Now I believe that asking users to login in order to record power usage is going to be a serious barrier to adoption, therefore I am only considering offline mode at the moment. Though a downside I have found with offline mode is that it requires to include the country code, which does not make sense if CodeCarbon is distributed in popular AI tools.

Is there any plan in enabling automatic country detection for offline mode? If yes, what would it entail to do so, what are the challenges? I am willing to look into it if current maintainers would be ok with including such behavior in CodeCarbon.

I realized I have misunderstood that online mode is not reserved only for the online dashboard at dashboard.codecarbon.io, it can still be used with local file and local dashboard. Then my request is irrelevant as the desired behavior already exists!
