I rarely get a "jack fail" to occur, but when it does occur it seemingly does so randomly (seemingly). when performing this always worried me so I did a silly hack to automatically restart the norns automatically: schollz@ed49d16
Is this of interest in merging upstream?
(I implemented this in a "performance" branch of my norns, because having to restart my norns from a jack fail will totally take me out of the headspace I want to be in a performance setting. Luckily I think its happened to me once and I'm glad this hack restarted my norns without my worrying).

Honestly, though i understand the motivation I'm bothered by adding hidden behavior as a solution, especially since it could result in an infinite restart loop.
Maybe a key-preas to restart from the JACK FAIL ui state would be a good compromise - the user knows what is happening but it requires minimal cognitive overhead to continue
