Motivation

Finetune larger versions of whisper on more languages like

  1. Catalan
  2. Kinyarwanda
  3. Esperanto
  4. German
  5. French
  6. Kabyle
  7. Spanish
  8. Portuguese
  9. Persian
  10. Italian
  11. Uyghur
  12. Basque
  13. Galician
  14. Ukrainian
  15. Greek

Note that these languages were picked semi-randomly. All of them are in the top 30 most contributed in Common Voice and we emphasized to have a good balance between popularity and showcasing commonly under-represented languages
