Upgrading from version 3.11.26 without Node.js/Modules

Hi there,

I'm looking to upgrade from version 3.11.26 (which was just pdf.js and pdf.worker.js in stead of the weird new "MJS" that I am unfamiliar with.

Of course, just replacing the two files with the new versions breaks everything, with multiple errors.

I am looking for a simple solution to just get the latest versions, without having to do something with modules or Node, because my website doesn't use this...

Where do I start?

You can use modules for PDF.js in your website by either replacing the <script src="..."> tag with <script src="..." type="module"> in your website, or by using import("./...../path/to/pdf.js").

You can also use Webpack (https://webpack.js.org/) to transform the module files into a single classic script.
