The Tracking Protection shield icon is wrongly displayed for opened downloaded files #3169

[Affected Versions]:

  • Firefox Reality version 10-141060720 (fa882ff).

[Affected Platforms]:

  • HTC Vive Plus - Android 7.1.2
  • Pico Neo 2 - Android - 8.1.0
  • Oculus Quest - Android 7.1.1

[Prerequisites]:

  • The headset is turned on and the app is opened.
  • Have a file available in the Downloads page.

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Click the Downloads button from the tray.
  2. Open a file from the list.
  3. Observe if the Tracking Protection shield icon is displayed.

[Expected results]:

  • The Tracking Protection shield icon is not displayed.

[Actual results]:

  • The the Tracking Protection shield icon is displayed.

[Additional Notes]:

  • The button is actionable but when trying to disable TP the button will go back to it's initial state.

I have verified this issue and it's no longer reproducible with the Firefox Reality version 10 RC1 (6db2f60). The Tracking Protection shield icon is no longer displayed for opened downloaded files.

Tested on HTC Vive Focus (Android 7.1.2), Oculus Quest (Android 7.1.1) and Pico Neo 2 (Android - 8.1.0) devices.
