Package name

libglycin

Brief description of package

libglycin has three parts:

  1. glycin and its loaders: Rust libraries
  2. libglycin C-Bindings for the library
  3. libglycin-gtk4 C-Bindings to convert glycin frames to GDK Textures

Arch Linux package put them together

URL for package's homepage

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glycin

Provide a basic test case to validate the package's functionality.

Combine them as one package or keep three packages?

it seems like gdk-pixbuf2 library and its loaders.

MINGW environments where you need the package

  • MINGW64
  • MINGW32
  • UCRT64

Will it be used with any Windows native program?

Will it be used with any Windows native program?

It looks like a few (GNOME?) apps are switching from gdk-pixbuf to glycin, so it does seem likely in the future?

E.g. the list of reverse deps on Arch: https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/glycin/
