Hi @xcarmengrandix , To assist with your issue we would need more information. What OS ae you running? and can you read the hdf files using a tool like hdfview or h5py on your platform? Which version and architecture of the plugin have you installed on your platform? Thanks,
|
Hi George, I'm using Windows 10 64-bit and the VBZ version I installed is the following: https://github.com/nanoporetech/vbz_compression/releases/download/1.0.2/ont-vbz-hdf-plugin-1.0.2-win64.msi I installed hdfview and I cannot see any hdf file in the path of the plugin (which for me is :\Program Files\OxfordNanopore\ont-vbz-hdf-plugin\hdf5\lib\plugin). I really have no experience in this kind of things so I'm sorry if I'm not clear. Thanks for your help! Carmen |
You would not find an hdf file in the path of the plugin - you should use hdfview to open onr of your experimental fast5 files once the plugin is installed. The location where the plugin should be installed is: Thanks,
|
Sorry for this, I checked in the fast5 folder of my experiment and I cannot see any file.
In that directory I have the following files: vbz_hdf_plugin.dll and vbz_hdf_plugin.lib |
If you dont have a fast5 file to open, then the vbz plugin cannot be failing - what data/process are you trying to execute? what does it consume as input? Thanks,
|
Hi,
I'm trying to use tailfindr for the analysis of my Nanopore sequencing data. The analysis runs withour errors but returns an empty csv file.
I assume the problem is the same one reported here: adnaniazi/tailfindr#12
However, following the instructions on windows using "set HDF5_PLUGIN_PATH = /mypath/" doesn't work. How can I solve this? Am I missing something in the installation?
Thanks in advance for your help.
