Face Recognition App

Are there plans to add support for the Face Recognition App. The installation instructions include steps for including the necessary dependencies for docker.

unfortunately we cannot provide all needed dependencies for all apps out there because it would make the project unmaintainable.
So I fear this app is out of scope for this project.

However you might be able to add the required dependency to the Nextcloud container by building the containier manually using https://github.com/nextcloud/all-in-one/tree/main/manual-install.

Now that the photo app has been revamped in Nextcloud 25, the face recognition app is quite the focus and is a core feature of nextcloud. especially after the nextcloud conference last weekend it is clear that this app is an important function for nextcloud.

Can that be reconsidered?

Hi, I am able to use the Recognize App with sub-native speed, but I was unable to run the native mode, since TensorFlow got not installed due to the Alpine image and unsupported glibc. My processor supports the AVX instruction set, so it would be very nice if there is a way to enable the native mode.

I tried to manually install TensorFlow within the Alpine container by using some Alpine glibc alternatives, but I did not succeed.
