How to use GitHub

  • Please use the 👍 reaction to show that you are affected by the same issue.
  • Please don't comment if you have no relevant information to add. It's just extra noise for everyone subscribed to this issue.
  • Subscribe to receive notifications on status change and new comments.

Steps to reproduce

  1. On iOS app, press the blue "+" and manually select a photo to upload
  2. Enable Use the "Auto upload" folder as destination
  3. Enable Use subfolders

Image

Expected behaviour

The new uploaded image should be placed under /Photos/2025/01

Actual behaviour

App recursively appends year and month to folder path. It tries to upload the photo to /Photos/2025/01/2025/01/2025/01

I stumbled over this accidentally today, too, while I was researching another issue. This is a valid problem for the version released in the App Store as well as the HEAD of develop.

Hello @marinofaggiana,
Would you be able to help us on this? I'm trying to save 300+ photos but it's been a pain since the folder structure is not correct :(
