notes.tar.gz is missing from in release assets

Until v4.10.0 the release assets contained notes.tar.gz plus the source in two archive formats (zip and tar.gz)

Is there a reason that notes.tar.gz is not added to the release assets? In the recent v4.10.1 and v4.11.0 notes.tar.gz is missing.

I'm asking because I create a local mirror of the release assets using the gh command. I'm not aware of a better way to download releases outside of Nextcloud.

We changed to an automated release process. The actual assets can be found at https://github.com/nextcloud-releases/notes/releases/tag/v4.11.0 however the hosting of release assets is not considered stable.

For a reliable way to find the current release asset URL you can access the releases on the app store https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/notes and get the URL from the release version:
