good morning everyone
I often come across really nice and useful projects and this is one of them
I'll start by saying: I've been using Ubuntu for years now, but Windows has accustomed me well and I hate the command line, so I love the idea of using a GUI like this.
The problem with many similar projects is that often (very often to tell the truth) the person who writes these wonderful programs, when he has to explain how to install them, leaves out some steps that are obvious to him (or them).
The person who wrote and developed this project obviously has the goal of making life easier for ordinary people, but...if this is the goal, I wonder why they completely left out the installation instructions.
I have an ubuntu 20.04 server and I would like to install this tool to configure wiregurd
That said, I searched the web for instructions to install this tool but none of them work, not even those with the .sh scripts that in theory should solve all the problems....and instead when I try to access the services http://my_server_ip:5000 from my browser the server gives me back:
Unable to reach the site xx.xxx.xx.xxx took too long to respond.
Try to:
Check the connection
Check the proxy and firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT.
I also disabled the firewall and I have no active proxy servers.
My server is not a virtual machine or within the walls of my house.
I have my own nice IP address and I installed LAMP for my websites.
Please could someone give me a step-by-step guide that is idiot-proof to install and make this extension work?
Thanks
