old nifskope fork

hi Neo,
I'm about to publish a heavily modified fork of "Nifskope", named "nifwind", written in C++, under "BSD 3-Clause" License, together with heavily modified "nif.xml" and "kfm.xml". The "NifSkope" license is kept in all files in its original form, as well as its license file. Due credit is given based on "niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/Developers".
I'm humbly asking for a "specific prior written permission".

Elements of the changelog, so far:

The roadmap:

• test suite
• cmake
• libNifwind: decouple the UI program from the heavy FF machinery
• visual file format editor
• some simple 3D mesh editing options: like move a vertex with the mouse
• plug-ins (specific, import, export, render, etc.)
• scripting (language not decided yet; verify "lua" 1st, "python" next)
• split the heavy xml into many simple xmls and let the program try different xmls against the input nif file
• MDI
• proper "wavefront" "obj" import/export

Thats a lot of work, and it won't happen over a night.

For whatever reason you forked from amorilia's 1.1.3 instead of anything recent, so there is actually nobody here who can give you permission. Amorilia is gone. This repo was originally forked from amorilia's repo and then the connection as a fork was severed by GitHub support.

Hi,
you're not Neo, and I have absolutely no interest in recent code.

I've given enough time for reaction, and there was none, e.g. the unofficial fork won't be released.

The inaction will slow things down a lot since I'll have to start from scratch, albeit "nif.xml". But that's that.

I hope you haven't lost the sf-net forum because there was a lot of knowledge there.
