Abstract

2 Days ago, on June 26th I decided to start a user group in Milton Keynes. By the time of NodeConf, I expect to have had at least one or two meetups, and so this talk will be the story of how I got it off the ground. I'm new to the city, and new to organising user groups, so this will be a tale of triumph, or epic failure, but hopefully amusing either way!

Speaker Bio

Al Graham is the founder of the Milton Keynes Node User Group, or will be in the next few weeks. When not having daft ideas, he's a Senior Consultant with Red Hat, working on their Mobile Application Platform team.
