Thanks for your work on this project!
I’m really interested in the Nota project! Since the README mentions a rewrite planned for Fall 2024, I was wondering if there are any updates regarding the rewrite or the project’s current status.

This project was put on the backburner for a bit due to competing priorities in my research. I've been exploring different angles on this problem. I put out this blog post last year: https://willcrichton.net/notes/portable-epubs/

I'm hoping to return to Nota by 2025 and release an updated version of the syntax and compiler. Stay tuned!
