First. I think Twitter is fine for comments specific to blog post, but having the comments below the blog post itself is great where if someone who isn't following you on Twitter or don't have a Twitter account can still see the discussion once they finished reading the blog post, which is greate. Oh BTW as this is technically stored as a Github issue, it counts as a contribution in my profile's activity overview 😄 |

Your are contributing Goulin! And I appreciate it 🙏 I'm sure I remember you telling me you were going to respond to a particular post but gave up when you saw there weren't comments. Is that wrong? But anyway, Twitter is toxic. If I was stronger I would have quit by now. And I don't want to give it more content than it already gets from me. |

It was indeed me who mentioned utteranc.es in the blog guild, I was using them for a while on my blog. Decided to disable as it impacted my performance score and nobody seemed to be using them, but might reconsider after reading your post. 😄 |

Ah thanks for confirming, I thought I was going crazy 😅
I tell you what, if you put comments back on your blog I promise to comment at least once. |

Nice post! I think comments (when utilised properly) can actually enhance your blog posts, as people share their insights and experiences on what you’re writing about. By the way, have you seen giscus? It’s similar to utterances, but it uses GitHub Discussions instead of Issues, which means you can have comment threads (and other useful features). |

Hi @laymonage. Thanks for commenting! Yes I did actually wonder why utterance wouldn't have used GitHub discussions. I'll definitely take a look at your plug-in instead. |

@nottrobin I actually use giscus as previously mentioned, because it uses Github discussions instead of Github issues which is great! |
