on devtools::check(), I see:

❯ checking top-level files ... NOTE
  Non-standard files/directories found at top level:
    ‘README.qmd’ ‘README_files’ ‘mwana.Rproj’

add these to .Rbuildignore using:

usethis::use_build_ignore(files = c("README.qmd", "README_files", "mwana.Rproj")
