Can I see the command being run or the last command to run?

Right now I am adding a print statement in the neotest code to see the command being run. Is there a way to see this without hacking the code? Ideally I could see either the command that is being run or, second best, the command that was last run.

I was seeing strange output while running tests and after seeing the command that was being run I was less surprised since it was doing something unexpected.

I found this https://github.com/thenbe/neotest-consumers (the 'yank' consumer) which does some of what I would like. It's good enough for now. I may write my own to do what I would like to see.
