Custom hotkeys in the task modal

Hi,
Is it possible to somehow activate hotkeys (custom and default) inside of the Create or Edit Tasks modal?

Use case:
I frequently need to create hyperlinks and style my text (with for example bold, cursive or custom color) in a tasks description.

Can't figure out if this is an Obsidian limitation with the modal itself or just a design choice in the plugin.

Hi, I suspect that you may mean auto suggest/auto-complete rather than hotkeys...

I have just updated the documentation to record that no, this is not currently supported.

Hi, Thanks for your reply.

Auto completion would definitely be great (I have upvoted it). I guess it is related(?) but I am actually talking specifically about hotkeys. Simple example would be Ctrl+B (Toggle Bold) to wrap the currently selected text in **.

With other words:
Can you make "text wrapping" commands that work outside of the Edit Tasks Modal (and does not include autocomplete or a dropdown list) also work inside of it?

The short answer is "I don't know", but maybe.

Because this is one of those situations where, if there was someone with the time and the knowledge and the interest in doing this, it would have been done.

But definitely doing #1763 would be the first step anyway - after which we would find out if hotkeys start working.
