How to add custom item to this list?

I want to add stuff like Pending, Canceled, etc. there.
Adding it in custom status not work if you use kanban plugin and i think it better to have text in task line.

No I don't - but also, based on the following issue, if you found another plugin that provides more options, you would probably need to turn off the Tasks auto-suggest:
