I do not have this result (laptop screen 15inch). But the entire website get stretched too much for bigger screen. I think we should center the website at some point to avoid these issues.

That could indeed be a simple solution.

the background colour doesn't make sense if the logo has a white background (e.g. open recognition). Then I think it is better to keep the background white.
Some of the logos are centered, come are placed in the top left corner. Would make this consistent.

More of a thing for maintainers to keep in mind?

Some of the logos are centered, come are placed in the top left corner. Would make this consistent.

Actually they are all positioned top left.
