Enable users to be contacted.

For good reason, we don't automatically display user emails in the frontend. Still, we often hear that users want to contact other users, and that many users like a way to be contacted.

This needs some thought. Ideally, we allow users to add 'ways of contact' in their profile (email, twitter, link to personal page,...). Another possibility is a direct contact feature with a form that emails the user without showing the email address (maybe with a styled subject message that's easy to filter on).

It should be as simple as possible, but allow users to do what feels comfortable to them.
