Because remoteDependencies is always an Array, there is no good way to say "only render the first thing in the list". It is currently possible by doing something like:

  {
    {{couchdb.0}}
    "couchdb": "http://{{public}}:5984/database
    {{couchdb.0}}
  }

This should be easier.
