No "allure-results" created when starting a test via Cucumber Java plugin in IntelliJ

I tried out this example: https://github.com/allure-examples/allure-cucumber-jvm-example

When I run a Cucumber test from IntelliJ (not with Maven) then no allure-results directory is created.

Only if I run a test with a Maven command allure-results directory is created.

Is it possible with Cucumber/Allure integration that the allure-results directory is created also if a Cucumber test is run via the Cucumber Java plugin in IntelliJ?
