Admin lockout >_< #4490
-
Hi all, I just setup firefly today \o/ But I had some issues (now solved -- #4486 ) and in the chaos of that forgot my admin login >_< The bad news is that this is not on the internet & the email is a dummy email. The good news is that I can get into the database that's acting as a backend for Firefly. I see 1 entry in "firefly3.users" which is the admin. However I think the password is encrypted (hard to tell encrypted password vs plaintext randomly generated password). Given that there's no data in the system am I safe to delete this entry in the database or is there a way for me to change the password? Which approach would you all recommend? Thanks! If the password is unencrypted in the database, is there a maximum length of the password or problematic characters? |

Deleted user & recreated, it worked perfectly & came up with a "create new user". Exactly what I wanted :) Now I'm on my way to filling this in & actually using Firefly III ^_^ |
