How did the AppImage package size blow up by a factor of 10 since v0.4.12?

I've just downloaded the last appImage, v0.5.14, and it's even larger than LM Studio - 1.4GB.

Then I found an older download, v0.4.5, and it's only 150MB.

With this scaling law, should we plan to buy dedicated SSDs for Jan any time soon? :)
