Yo, this is Max from Berlin, currently at Stanford. I've been building AI tools and FullStack. I take the 100 Days to stay consistent with coding. My interests vary in tech, but I love IoT and working on backends. Fun fact: I destroyed my father's computer when I was 2 years old. Since then, I've been fascinated with tech. |

Hi hi HI HIII my name is Mikaela, I come from Espoo, Finland. My experience level is IT undergraduate, never contributed to open source!! My personal Goals for #100DaysOfOSS are to gain variety and experience with projects, use chatgpt less (hahaha) as well as get into the world of open-source and get into the habit of committing! Interested in neural networks and see what else interests me. I will maybe try getting into full-stack, use creativity, learn a thing or two. ENFP, ADHD, Cat-mom, LGBTQ+, Free Palestine. I am a part-time bartender and an elementary substitute teacher. What else?...I love doing pull-ups! |

Week 2: Exploring Projects and Open Source FundamentalsJust a reminder, please thread your responses using the "Write a Reply" for each prompt to help keep our discussion "clean" EventsWhat: Livestream Task One: Tracking Your Impact 📓In last week's post, we talked about the importance of tracking repositories and progress. This week, we're introducing a new way to track your progress. Today, we introduced your OSCR (Open Source Contributor Rating) on the OpenSauced platform. This number, out of 300 total points looks at your impact, influence, and the quality of your contributions to open source. I want you to think about this as your starting point. As you make more contributions throughout this challenge, you'll see an increase in that score. It doesn't matter what your score is today; it's that you see improvement on day 100. I'll link a blog post tomorrow to talk more about it. How to check your OSCR
Share your OSCR CardIn today's blog post, I talk about the value of knowing the story behind the numbers. Share your DevCard this week and tell the story behind your number. Here's mine https://app.opensauced.pizza/u/bekahhw/card. Task Two: Find Projects You're Interested in 🔍In the Intro to Open Source course, we talked about how to find projects to contribute to. Now, let's put that into action. Choose 3-5 projects that you're interested in exploring. This doesn't have to be a project you want to contribute to. We want to explore how open source projects are organized. To do this, you should:
Here's a post you can read on writing good issues. Action items:
