We currently do not offer this feature because if we allow anyone to add RSS feeds to our podcast directory, then there will be more overhead for us to maintain, as we will have to curate and remove content that violates copyright law, or otherwise violates US law. Podverse currently syncs its entire podcast directory with Podcast Index, which is the world's largest open podcast directory. In order for a podcast to be added to our searchable directory, it must first be added to Podcast Index. They are handling the primary responsibilities of curating content to remain in compliance with US law, and preventing spam (a very difficult task) from entering the directory. As an alternative, we allow you to use the "Add by RSS" feature (mobile only), which lets you add an RSS feed so it is only playable locally on your device by you. If you would like a podcast added to Podverse's searchable directory, you can contact us for support at [email protected] with the request. |
