Regolith inherits the resolution of the built-in laptop screen even though it is not the primary monitor. #722
-
I use my Alienware X17 with its 4k screen, or when I am in the office, I connect it to two monitors with lower resolution. The problem is that when I connect to lower-resolution monitors, the status bar takes up too much space. How can I decrease the height? |

Update: I found a "solution" if I log in with GNOME classic, after which I log out and log in again with regolith the bar resolution is correct. I think regolith inherits the resolution of the laptop's built-in screen even if it is not the primary monitor. I have also found that this creates additional problems for some applications; one example, I can't start Virtual Box WM when regolith uses the wrong resolution. Has anyone found a solution? |
