Hi! I was reviewing your project (I am building my own application and looking for a ref) and noticed that you’re using a custom-built table for data rendering. I’m curious, why did you decide to go with a custom solution instead of utilizing existing libraries like TanStack Table ? Thanks!

Outerbase Studio is a database GUI, and one of the most critical features of any database GUI is the table component. I prefer having complete control over the table to customize it as needed. I want to create Excel-like table experience (even we are not close to this goal yet)

I’ve tested several existing table components, including TanStack Table, before deciding to create our own. Many of these options either perform poorly with large datasets or are difficult to customize.

What kind of application are you planning to build?
