What version of Bun is running?

1.1.43

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 24.1.0 arm64 arm

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. Make a monorepo.
  2. In any package, run bun add @fastify/multipart.
  3. Nothing happens, package does not get installed.
  4. In package.json there is now an entry that says "@fastify/multipart": "".

What is the expected behavior?

package.json has the right version and the package installs.

What do you see instead?

Adding the version was not enough and still wasn't installing the package.

Removing the bunb.lockb allowed me to install it properly. Apologies that I deleted it before I could post a repro.
