include extended documentation of the compression process
Routines for Alex work below will be used to recover from the compression

Alex is finishing PR #1751 related to ticket #1152, revisit #1125 #1134

• calculate_qw_pixels2.m #1125
• Reformat calculate_qw_pixels2 and make file-safe #1134
• Missing tests and issiues with calculate_qw_pixels2 #1152
• Fix issues with calculate_qw_pixels2 for recent horace #1751
• Also to update, redescribe Missing tests and issiues with calculate_qw_pixels2 #1152 as it's more than missing tests
• include full description of how issue was discovered
• planned finish 28.2.25

Move on to #1776 if all the above is finished. Fe work, not related to above other than a particular use of what Alex will have finished.

Note we have issue from ESS on documenting the creation of sqw's. #1827
