Allow collectors to view statistics for their collections #264
Comments
Needs some means to capture and analayse downloads and views. Estimate it will take about 3 days to implement & test. |
I've received an access request for GE1-MAthesis-A.pdf which is an open access item, but currently have no way of providing access to this item, since downloading has not been implemented. Is this something we could prioritise? |
We need to discuss with @LindaBarwick and @nthieberger how to continue maintaining the codebase and integrating new features such as this one. Our current contract has finished. |
We have a new budget and can plan on you doing this work and invoicing us as before. Should we set up a new googledoc to list jobs and time estimates or can we run it via github bug reports? |
Feel free to create a spreadsheet with the list of bugs from github. I can give you time estimates and we can discuss budget from there. Thanks! |
Statistics for downloads have been added, see 156cb87 |
Unclear what this issue actually is, and whether it should be open or closed. |
I think this has been fixed, e.g. GE1-MAthesis-A.pdf can now be downloaded. But the other issue is, can users see download stats/identities of downloaders of their items? Maybe something to keep open. |
This is about collectors seeing stats of their files. Right now only admins can see them. |
@nthieberger Is this still something we want? |
I would say yes we want this |
Consider something like the Catalog Report but have a collector view. |
Collectors should be able to see statistics of views & downloads of their essence files.
