HomeAssistant MQTT discovery is very noisy

I'm using pixelit v2.5.1 without any sensors or buttons and I've noticed that my HA logs are "spammed" with pixelit sensors mqtt discovery:

As you can see every few minutes a new pixelit sensor has been found. Actually this is only the message, senors does not multiply in HA, but it wouldn't help to keep logs clean :) I think there is no need to publish autodiscovery message every time pixelit is being connented to MQTT Broker.

Looks like a problem with your broker, HA or network. Autodiscovery on connect is normal, but reconnects every few minutes are not normal.

Well, I did mqtt broker restart and it looks it's fine now, no more reconnectings :) Thanks a lot for a tip.

But I wonder if autodiscovery message should be published every time device (re)connects to broker? They are retained messages, so it's sufficient to publish them only on device (re)boot I think?

Retained means, thats on every connect from HA to the broker, the device will be "discovered" - also when it not exists anymore. Publish a discovery message in connect of the device makes sense and it think the HA docs write the same.
