After proceeding with the game update, but while doing so also having a beatmap update (could just be a beatmap download), and then playing a beatmap, after the beatmap finishes loading, the game will forcibly quit out during gameplay #32018

Bug description

I hope the title is not confusing? It's also kinda hard to recreate myself so this is just from what I remember
While I was in gameplay I got interrupted (the game quit out) to load an update.

There were a few conditions:

  • I clicked the game update notification to proceed with the update
  • A beatmap was loading (it was a beatmap update if that's relevant) during it
  • I started playing a different beatmap

Screenshots or videos

I cannot provide any? I will have to wait for a game update and someone updating their beatmap online that I have, or maybe loading a beatmap will work.

Though I'm not certain whether it was just a one-off event or something that's recreatable

The relevant log cuts off abruptly in a way I would not expect of a clean game exit:

Can you check windows event viewer to make sure this wasn't some higher level crash?

I couldn't find anything, but I have no experience in checking the windows event viewer (This is my first time ever opening it). The most I can say is I didn't find anything that says "crash" or "osu" by manually checking events in administrative events for 4 or so hours back from when I made this post (I usually report stuff here right away).

If it is anything useful, I made an event log of "Administrative events" with events from around 6:36 PM (UTC+7) (around the time when I booted up my computer) until first events of February 22
