Ok, seems not to be related with videocard, before my internet was going 800mbs on both directions, and now 90mbs... this install does any change related to the network setup?

does any change related to the network setup?

Nope. It uses network manager so check that out too.

New update: I was using Firefox, for some reason after installing this, Firefox started to be really really slow to reproduce any video... I give a try with Chromium and works well... Maybe it takes some time to start, I remember on Firefox was instantly before.

Btw, the internet speed was a coincidence, it got changed to FE, just unplugged and plugged again 😅 .

Seems is not using VA-API while looking a video, even in chromium... 🤦🏼 :

❯ nvidia-smi -q | grep "Decoder"

        Decoder : 0 %

nvidia moment.

See the hyprland wiki on setting the VA for nvidia.

You can start referencing this file.

https://github.com/HyDE-Project/HyDE/blob/master/Configs/.config/hypr/nvidia.conf

also note that hyprdots is unmaintained and we moved to the org https://github.com/HyDE-Project/HyDE/

You should follow this
https://wiki.hyprland.org/Nvidia/#va-api-hardware-video-acceleration

also see the archwiki on how to use it.

Note that I get it working by using the -git package from aur.
