Add visual feedback to the onscreen keyboard when the user hits a key

When I press the R and L button, I expect some visual feedback on the on screen keyboard.
So that the key which gets pressed will flash gray for a split second for example.
It's super confusing right now and I twice was under the impression that the keyboard is not working because of that
