Em dash overrides code block

Starting a code block with a double hyphens auto-converts to an em dash, and removes the code block in the process.

(You can press backspace to revert the em dash and get a double hyphen in a code block again, but people probably don't expect the code block to disappear even if they do expect the em dash)
