• Grant request from Denny re: PyLadies event in Chile - @econchick
  • missing actual $ amount requested
  • estimate # of large pizzas for 60 ppl: 20-25 pizzas
  • estimate $ (in US) for a large pizza: $20
  • estimate cost $400-500 (US)
  • haven't yet sorted out our funding process; a part of us figuring out our governance model
  • PSF guidelines: $15/pp/per day for event sponsor; this pizza request would be 70% of the entire budget
• PyLadiesCon panel - @econchick
  • @JUpani won't be able to attend :(
• We need to post about the Outstanding PyLady Award nominations since they "close" at the end of the year for the 2025 awards @ PyCon US
  • @MmeMarieLouise to post a bunch thru the end of the year
  • @BethanyG to write up a blog post
• Shauna's proposal re: governance help - @econchick
  • let's start small, e.g. 10-16 hr contract
  • setup another session to dig into what deliverables there could be, to better understand
  • "what could be accomplished in X amount of time?"
• How can brand new & revived chapters get meetup support if they have to prove they have had the required number of events? - @econchick

  • I started taking it over but the pyladies wont pay to reinstate unless i have a few meetups first but meetup makes me pay in order to reinstate
