Description

I've spent a little while with the dbt documentation process and I think it would be a great thing to integrate with quarto.

Basically dbt gets you to create documentation in yml files which can be rendered by dbt docs generate into a static site, but the static site is incredibly hard to work with. For example you can't hide things from the sidebar, or even reorganize model documentation to surface the most relevant models first. Additionally writing long form documentation in YAML is pretty rough when compared to markdown, and there's no live-reload for generating the documentation.

The basic idea is similar to quartodoc which would be to translate the existing dbt documentation process into quarto, which would make it much easier to integrate those docs into a better website.
