Summary

Dear Quran.com Team,

Assalamu Alaikum,

I am reaching out regarding the Quran recitation audio files available on Quran.com. I manage a YouTube channel where I share Islamic content, including Quranic recitations for educational and spiritual purposes. Recently, I used an audio recitation from your site in one of my videos, providing full attribution in the description. However, YouTube has flagged the video with a copyright claim, which is affecting its visibility.

Could you please clarify whether I have permission to use the audio files from Quran.com on my YouTube channel? If so, are there any specific guidelines I should follow to avoid copyright claims, or any official documentation that I could provide to YouTube to verify my usage rights?

Thank you very much for making these resources available to the community. I look forward to any advice or support you can offer to help me continue sharing Quranic recitations without copyright issues.

JazakAllah khair for your time and assistance.

Best regards,
Aatif Shafi Mir
